I pick my coffee shops according to wifi, coffee, music and neighborhood. I love coffee shops. It's possibly the best way for me to get work done.
I use workhardanywhere to find my coffee shops and CUPS to pay for my coffee.
Name | Stars | Neighborhood | Wifi Speed | Thoughts |
---|---|---|---|---|
Devocion | 5 | Williamsburg | 5 | Sun roof; plants everywhere; Raggae and Classic Rock music; large open space. My top favorite. |
Starbucks | 4 | Williamsburg | 5 | I rarely advocate anyone to go to Starbucks. This one is an exception. The wifi is powered by Google, they have an espresso machine and a huge space and great seating. I only get tea there. Coffee is great. |
Toby's Estate | 4 | Williamsburg | 3.5 | Gets great sunlight. I mostly like it because of their coffee. Plus it is usually the only coffee shop in Willi that has wifi on weekends. |
Madeline | 5 | Flatbush | 5 | It's a short bike ride away from me, has great breakfast options. Tasty espressos. If you don't find a spot immediately, wait 5 min. |
Milk & Honey Cafe | 4 | Flatbush | 4 | An open space with good light, many tables and tasty coffee. Music is meh, bring headphones. Great food. |
Hungry Ghost | 5 | Prospect Heights | 4.5 | They serve Stumptown. Great coffee! Classic rock and jazz. Awesome baristas. No outlets. reserved sections for laptops. Standing tables for work. |
Bean and Bean | 4.5 | Chelsea | 3.5 | Large open space. Tasty coffee. Music leans more towards pop. Many students from FIT. |
Pushcart | 4.5 | Chelsea | 4 | Homey feel. Neighborhood driven. An ok space. Provides enough for me to spend several hours working there. |
